Salem's Lot was Stephen King's second book, and has been made into several movie renditions. It's a story about 'traditional vampires' taking over the small town of Jerusalem's Lot, abbreviated to Salem's Lot. It's widely considered to be a good vampire book, unlike Twishitlight.

Despite the fact that this book was written around the time that Meyer was approximately a year old, Twitards, in their ongoing campaign against Stephen King, claim that 'he could never write a vampire story as bad good [sic] as Twilight. Because writing a book better than that poor excuse for fanfiction would be sooooooo hard *sarcasm hand raised *).

So, without further ado, we present 'Salem's Lot', or, as we here at Frozen Apples prefer to call it, 'Vampires done right'.
